House of Investments, Inc. has recently become a participant in the United Nations Global Compact. The United Nations Global Compact is the world’s largest corporate sustainability initiative, engaging companies to align their strategies and operations with universally accepted principles in the areas of human rights, labor, environment, and anti-corruption, and take actions that advance societal goals. By joining this initiative, we demonstrate our dedication to upholding these principles and contributing to the achievement of the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).
Through this partnership, we aim to:
- Strengthen our commitment to upholding human rights and labor standards throughout our value chain.
- Minimize our environmental footprint by implementing sustainable practices and reducing resource consumption.
- Combat corruption in all its forms by promoting transparency and integrity in our business operations.
We shall endeavor to collaborate with fellow participants, stakeholders, and the broader UN Global Compact network to drive positive change and create a more sustainable future for all.
AY Foundation, Inc.
AY Foundation is a community development foundation with an advocacy to help promote health, education, disaster relief and rehabilitation, and values formation particularly among the youth, with the following goals:
- To provide educational assistance to financially needy but deserving Filipino youth, especially members of the indigenous groups, center-based street children, and qualified dependents of employees of the YGC companies.
- To contribute to the formation of moral values in our society, especially among the youth (e.g. National Discipline).
- To provide poor Filipinos in far-flung communities with access to quality medical services.

Mahintana Foundation, Inc. in partnership with Dole Philippines Inc., AY Foundation, Inc. and the 549th Engineer “Kapayapaan” Battalion of the 54th Engineer Brigade, together with the Muslim Council of Elders Polomolok, Polomolok Values Formation Council, and the Local Government Unit of Polomolok conducted a Groundbreaking Ceremony and Interlocal Agency Partnership Signing. This significant event took place in Purok Maharlika, Barangay Magsaysay, and Sitio Bio, Barangay Lapu, Polomolok, South Cotabato in support to the Promoting Peace Engagements and Community Empowerment (ProPEACE) Programme.
This event was participated by Provincial BM, Hon. Alan Ines, Municipal Mayor, Hon. Bernie D. Palencia, Municipal Peace and Order Committee Chair, Atty. Leo Cordova, BGEN Randy F. Fajilagutan PA, Cmdr 54th Engineer “Sarangay” Brigade, COL Maximo G. Almuete Jr. GSC (CE) PA, Deputy Bde Cmdr, 54th Engineer “Sarangay” Brigade; LTC Donald C. Hugo, 549th Engineer “Kapayapaan” Battalion; LTCOL Carlyleo P. Nagac INF, of the 5th Special Forces Battalion, Atty. Rochelle Mahinay Sero, CESE, EnP, Provincial Director of DILG South Cotabato. Also, joining the event were representatives from Dole Philippines Inc., including Mr. Reynaldo C. Doria, VP and
Managing Director,Mr. Jaime Serna, the Head of Security, representative of AY Foundation Inc., Ms. Mary Therese Cheng, and the MILF Lapu Commander Mr. Roy Seddic and MNLF Magsaysay Commander Mr. Arnold Lakay.
This collaborative effort stands as a beacon of hope, dedicated to promoting peace through the cultivation of knowledge. Through education, the aim is to empower communities and build a brighter future where peace prevails.
