iPeople, inc. (PSE:IPO) is the holding company under House of Investments, Inc. (PSE:HI) and the Yuchengco Group of Companies that drives investments in the education sector. Formerly known as Petrofields Exploration and Development Co., Inc., the Company was incorporated on July 27, 1989 by Benguet Corporation to engage in petroleum and mineral exploration, development, and production and operated as such until 1997. Under HI, the Company changed its name, primary purpose and focused its investments in education.

Mapúa University is widely considered to be the leading and largest private Engineering and I.T. University in the country. Don Tomas Mapúa, the first registered Filipino architect, founded Mapúa Institute of Technology on January 25, 1925. Mapúa University operates in two (2) major campuses: its main campus in Intramuros and its extension campus in Makati.

Mapúa Malayan Colleges Laguna
Located in Cabuyao, Laguna, alongside several science and industrial parks, Malayan Colleges Laguna was established to extend the brand of the Mapúa Institute of Technology to the south by offering programs in engineering, computer science, information technology, business, accountancy, and hotel and restaurant management to students who prefer to stay closer to home.



Mapúa Malayan Education Mindanao
Incorporated in 2015, Malayan Colleges Mindanao (A Mapúa School), Inc. was established to offer Mapúa-education in Davao and Mindanao. It started school operations on July 2, 2018. Malayan Colleges Mindanao welcomed 1,280 college freshmen and grade 11 students in its first year of school operations. The school offered 14 programs in the AY2018–2019. It also offered Senior High School in all five strands, as well as a Junior High School program.

Malayan High School of Science
MHSS is a science- and math-oriented high school located in Pandacan, Manila. Modeled after similar but publicly funded science high schools, MHSS offers a rigorous academic program geared towards graduating hard-working, mathematical and scientific-trained students that will excel in their university studies and beyond. The school is focused on optimizing student-to-teacher time and currently has 280 students.



National Teachers College
Founded in 1928, the National Teachers College (NTC) was the first Higher Education Institution (HEI) in the Philippines to offer collegiate programs dedicated to teacher education. Among private educational institutions in the Philippines, it has attained a preeminent place in educational leadership, particularly in the field of teacher education. Its performance in the Licensure Examination for Teachers is always above the national passing rate.
Gearing toward industrialization and developing professionals for national
productivity and global competitiveness, collegiate programs were expanded to include business, hospitality, information technology, and psychology. The Senior High School program was likewise opened offering both Academic and Tech-Voc tracks.

University of Nueva Caceres
Located in Naga City, Camarines Sur, the University of Nueva Caceres (UNC) is the first university in Southern Luzon. It was formed in 1948 and attained university status five years later. Currently, the University offers complete basic education, four programs in the College of Arts and Sciences, thirteen in the College of Business and Administration, five in the College of Computer Studies, thirteen in the College of Education, six in the College of Engineering, Nursing, Criminal Justice Education, Juris Doctor, and three Doctorate and fifteen Masters Degree programs in the Graduate Studies department.
